I’ve found that breaking the rules in terms of photography can often produce great results. It helps me if I know what the rules are before I’m breaking them. The macro ring flash was designed for macro photography, however when turned up to full strength I think it can produce some pretty interesting shadowless, even, model type lighting.

I’m starting to see the different strengths with all these social networking tools and feel as though, for me, they all have some use. Except twitter. I feel as though I don’t want to keep updating” What I’m doing” and I hope this doesn’t sound rude, I not interested enough in what other people are doing. Even the term following, I need to do more creating! I like the idea of twitter helping to quit worrying about the writing and get straight to the point. This does appeal to me. If I’m completely honest, I don’t think my life is interesting or exciting enough to start twittering yet. Long live blogs.

I very rarely write things down and I think it’s about time
Yesterday I thought I had lost my high definition video camera
I had left the camera on the floor as I was already capturing the action from high above and I wanted a second option when editing.
The next time I’m filming with two video cameras and taking photos in between, I’ll double check that I have everything I should have. It’s okay to put your less expensive camera in more interesting and out of the ordinary places will just be sure not to leave it behind when packing up all the equipment.

Due to being a newbie in the bloggging world I’ve deciced that it’s best to do some research and find some blogs that I find interesting. There are quite a few to say the least. I had the stereotypical image of a 14 year old teenager writing blogs (which is a good thing). How my attitude is changing. I’m hoping this will encourage me to read more as this is something I know I’ve needed to do and wanted to do for a long time. I like the idea of reading blogs but also doing my own. I don’t read manuals but if I did I would need to try while I read. I will refer to the manual when I have a problem or wish to know something. I believe I learn and remember more that way.
