Whilst I was soaking up the sun at Birmingham Cathedral waiting for a model to turn up, what did I do when he was running over 1 hour late due to his barber. No problem, stay positive and read my work affirmations. The location for the mixtape cover photoshoot was a great junkyard which the artist, Genie knew about and due to a positive energy on the shoot we managed to get the security guard to show us a few interesting nooks and crannys that may work to be the best shots. I think we all enjoyed ourselves and the results will show. Here are the work affirmations notes I had tucked away in my note capturing device.
I love my job because :
I am surrounded by creativity
I can express myself
Everyday is full of opportunity
I have excellent facalities to produce very high quality work
I have no excuse
I have everything I need and whatever I may need I need I can get
I have had so much guidance so far
It feels right in my heart

There is no such thing as a bad idea. This I now strongly believe, decisions is another post but as for ideas, get them down! I have to write all my ideas down that I have a strong feeling/energy/enthusiasm towards. There is a very important stage for me in getting something out of my brain and onto a bit of paper. It feels like Im freeing my mind from storing lots of little tasks and leaving it free to do what it does best, decide and develop. I don’t mind map enough so this is something I need to develop big time but for now I need to keep the seeds and develop my technique at doing this. Since listening to David Allens GTD I realise that this same theory works for those who don’t receive 300 hundred emails a day but who feel as though they are a little bit all over the place when it comes to there creative energy. I know I have enough energy but I need to control it it the correct way. I become easily sidetracked sometimes, which I don’t mind as long as I feel good afterwards. I’m learning.

Yesterday was one of the most amazing workshops I have ever experienced. Working with young people is too rewarding. I think us adults could learn a thing or two from them, especially when watching them work in groups. They put my university class to shame. The creative energy they have is out of this world, and most times the idea’s are quality! Slideshow coming soon!
Today was great! The sun is shining…As Nick, Priesthood and I discussed ideas and how to take this project forward I realized that working in a team who are all heading in the same direction is a beautiful thing. What powerful energy! Looking forward to the final result
