Alisia and Rachael decided to start nibbling away on my goodies in the artist studio at the NAE. So I decided to film them and something strange happened! These wide-angle lenses are too much fun, I should really be more sensible though. There is a performance happening at the New Art Exchange on the 6th and 7th of November and earlier today we were putting the final touches to some of the media that will be used for the trailer and the performance.
This is a photo taken for the New Art Exchange website. It’s me using the artist in residence space trying to give a flavour of what me and my art is about. Gadgets, lenses and software play a big part as you can see.
Working on two exciting projects at the moment while based at the artist studio at the New Art Exchange. Train of thought with established artist Sardul Gil, and a performance/media projects with YARD youth theatre production. I’ve been working on both of these projects today and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it really does help to put yourself in a positive work environment, especially around other like-minded individuals with similar interests or aims.
Found a few pictures taken without any young people in view. I think they look pretty cool too with the strong dramatic lines from the buildings. The workshop was too much fun, I really do enjoy working with young people and hope to do more of this type of work this year.

Friday 5th September and Saturday 6th September was the launch of the New Art Exchange’s first major show, “Next We Change Earth”
Due to the chairman, Eddy Maxwell, unable to attend on the Friday, UrBen media was responsible for producing a video presentation in his absence.
Got some postivie feedback and lots of important art related people in the audience so having my logo shown in all its glory at the beginning and end of the video presentation may help to raise my profile.
Now all the filming is complete (3 Days of filming)
Its time to begin the edit. Normally I wouldn’t edit with the artist involved watching every chop but I’ve decided to approach this project different. Everything in this project has had a group decision, as long as its sensible, lets try it.
I’m hoping that having Glen Priesthood (Artist) around will influence the final look of the video in a different way to showing him what we’ve decided to produce.
